The Cathedral Mathematics Competition
July 13-14, 2024
Initially coined ‘Calcoholics Anonymous’, The Cathedral Mathematics Competition (CMC) started off as a student-run initiative of The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai. CMC aims for a holistic growth and understanding of one’s hidden mathematical capabilities, highly valuing creativity and innovation – two qualities that are essential in solving problems. Success in the competition stems from strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills. CMC has helped discover some of the best and brightest minds by catering to students spanning various age groups from around the world. Driven by the backing of the FSA Club, CMC has grown into one of the world’s largest and most unique, challenging, and prestigious competitions. Every year, math enthusiasts from the school’s senior batch brainstorm innovative questions and put together a highly competitive, yet engaging competition that unites thousands of participants from different backgrounds through their common passion – math.
